Haven’t I seen you before?

If you have visited the ‘Body’ section on my site then yes you have seen me before.

As an artist I adore the human form and wish to celebrate the divine feminine… more on that in a later blog. I am thrilled to appear immortalised in neon pink and gold in a painting by the incredible Jonathan Ash.

Artist Jonathan Ash

‘Figure’ is Jonathan’s 15th solo exhibition and is on now at The Halpern ‘POP’ gallery in Rochester in Kent.

LH painting ‘Couple Embrace’ acrylic on canvas 100 x 150cm RH painting (of me) ‘Statuesque’ acrylic on canvas 100 x 50cm

I popped into the POP yesterday and spent a long time chatting, laughing and spilling coffee with Jonathan (yep some people wandered in from the cafe and in shock he spilt his drink!) If you’ve visited the Nucleus Arts Cafes in Rochester and Chatham you will know what I’m talking about because the galleries in both venues are ‘at the back’.

The cafes take centre stage and having experienced the food and drink at both establishments I can understand why. If you are in for a bite to eat and drink then please take a look at the art and spread the word. There are ongoing exhibitions in both Rochester and Chatham. That brings me to my next exciting news.

I shall be exhibiting in ‘Hidden Women’ at The Halpern Gallery, Chatham 7-19th October. More details to follow.
