Prosecco & Cake

My exhibition event last Saturday was a huge success. A big thank you to Hollie for her delicious and very ‘arty’ cupcakes. The Vegan and Gluten free mouthfuls were especially moorish.

Thank you to the inspiring and experienced Vanessa who was the epitome of an elegant hostess. Vanessa really knew her stuff when it came to handling the event. Whilst I could talk passionately about my art for hours, she meticulously collected contact details and made sure everyone had a drink and nibbles.

We had visitors from far and wide. including a delightful mother and daughter who quite literally stumbled across the gallery on a day trip to the area for the first time. They were pleasantly surprised to find such a gem away from what they would usually expect to see in a gallery in London.

All were welcome and it was lovely to see many of my artist friends, including Carole, who recently won the commission for her artwork celebrating Medway Rugby Club’s 90th anniversary and Jill, a successful fellow artist, whose work sells around the globe.

My good friend, international artist, now based in Kent, and fellow ‘Duende’ member, Edwina Jacques came and entertained my Hubbie with delightful conversation about all things under the sun.

It was wonderful to see gorgeous Caroline and the equally gorgeous Pigeon, her well-behaved and very cute dog.

My neighbour Tomas and his young son Max came along with a gift. Thank you.

Thank you to Ian of Kentfield Country Estate who made the time in his busy schedule to come along and look at the variety of what I had on offer and discuss what he can offer me in terms of a piece of art for his home.

And finally a big thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes who helped plan what was going to go up on the walls, to the printing and hanging of the work.

My solo exhibition runs until the end of the month. If you can make it great. If you can’t then please pop over to my on-line gallery and take a look at my work. Anything you see is available as an A4 print. I upload new work regularly. My fine Art prints are Limited Edition. When they are gone they are gone.
